Remembrance
Sounds of silence
Fill my ears.
As I shed
My sorrowed tears.
People pass
Hug me and say
"We are sorry
It ended this way.
My mind then travels
To when you were here.
To a time when
Our love was so dear.
Places we visited
Words that were said,
All seem to drift
Thru my head.
No more will I see
Your eyes of blue,
No more will you whisper
"I love you."
Why it happened
I do not know.
It's going to be hard
To let you go.
The memories we made
Will remain in my heart.
Even though
We had to part.
