Remembering You

Right now...
my life is upside down, 
I wake up everyday with a frown.

My mind filled with grey, 
remembering days, 
My mind filled with out memories, 
memories I'll make sure in my mind they stay.

That smile on your face, 
The look in your eyes, 
the feeling you give me that I can't describe.

I know you can't be with me anymore, 
your somewhere else you need to be, 
I guess.

I wish your heart still beats, 
I wish wherever you are we can still meet, 
Although you're not with me anymore...
everyday I'll be remembering you.

Gabe Shelly May 24, 2013 at 8:16 AM I didn't like this. I read the "The Tree", the idea behind that and your other poem were much better. People don't give a lot of constructive criticism around here. They just say "oh how beautiful it is..." and nothing more. Still, you got talent. I know this one was from deep down, and I'm sorry, but I don't think you did it justice. Still, pain is a good motivator in all things. You've just got to learn when to set things aside for a little while then come back to it later.
