Remembering When

I remember when..
We would climb up the trees in peak sun,
And scared of the gardener though,
Yet pluck fruits and just have fun,
And he could never catch us.........

I remember when..
We would sit on benches in college cricket ground,
And cheer up our classmates for a win,
Yet making loud whistling sounds,
And in disguise the opponents would run.......

I remember when..
I saw my life-mate for the first time,
And flattened in love at first sight,
Yet craving for the joys abound,
And woke up each day with a new sky......

I remember when..
He took me to a long drive,
And I found ethereal delight as he kissed my soul,
Yet I reached to the end of earth,
And consummate desires pacified......
