Remembering All Our Yesterdays

I have taken my last hunting trip on earth
Discovering what family is really worth
My life is moving on with a new kind of birth
For I have seen my last sunrise 
Disappear Into the dawn of night
Part of me will always be with you from beyond
Lifes precious moments are never gone
Staying with us when we move on
 
Know that I love you all very much
So let us stay in touch
When you bow your head to pray
knowing I will Hear what your heart wants to say
Believe that I have found my way
Up in the sky where the angels play
Where our family Awaits my arrival today
Remember it's all by God's design

I can see my whole life flashing like a neon sign
Believing there is nothing I'd refine
Knowing he brought me so many lifelines
I will always treasure as I am reassigned
To walk in Gods divine presence
That in the end, I can only reference
As this amazing family of mine
Who brought so much joy and sunshine
Especially when it was hunting time

Oh how it was one of a kind 
The finest bunch living in my mind
Together with family shooting a line
Thinking about all the hunting times
That make up this life of mine
As we unwind sharing stories in rewind 
Of all the trades and lifelong relationships, 
I made along the way

Remembering all of our yesterdays
With family like it was opening day
God knows I had to do it in my own unique way
Wish I could hit a magic button so we could replay
All the magical memories I see in this Godly display
Though I have spent my last day with all of you 
I promise that being with God in heaven 
Makes our life worth living 

We all know it's not possible for me to stay 
I will miss you all in my own special way
My next hunting trip has gotten underway
Where I'm going I can hunt every day
To my wife and kids, I need to convey
My legacy is with each of you to portray

All the love we shared each day
Know that God has come to take my soul away
Into the sky where all the angels play
Where I will be waiting for all of you someday
Just like our loved ones that have passed away
Wait for my arrival now that I have shared my last day

Think of me on a bright sunshiny day
Or on a family hunting trip underway
For now, I must obey Gods pathway
That leads to the hunting camp in the sky
Where my spirit can rein on high
Remembering all of you as the days pass by

Please don't continue to cry
Know I lived life's highest high's
This is not goodbye
But rather I am with God by my side
Hunting way up in the sky
Where the angels play
Living through all your eye's
