. This morning I'm still smiling .
. from our words of love last night, .
. The thunder's cries could not outdo .
. The softly whispered shouts of "I love you." .
. .
. This afternoon a haunting tune .
. of love runs through my mind, .
. And weaves a simple tapestry .
. Of life and love and you in harmony. .
. .
. When feelings get too big to fit .
. Inside the cage of words, .
. Although there are no words to say .
. We go ahead and say them anyway. .
. .
. This evening I'm remembering .
. the thoughts that filled my day; .
. Inside my mind chorales unwind, .
. The dissonance of life resolves to you. .
. .
. Tomorrow we can borrow .
. just another day from God, .
. Adoring each brief joy it brings .
. That someday we will be remembering .
