Remembered Words

Mom always said to me, When feeling sad and bad come to me, Now that she is gone, Sweet memories shared, I have nowhere to fawn, And yawn. Remembering her little hugs, And the tea we sometimes sipped together on the rug. I know that history, Will not repeat any of her stories, The will of breathing just, Comes from her remembrance, The beating of the heart, Just comes from her dominance. I know that if I lie in defeat, She will never forgive me even in her deep sleep, But going on without her, I feel like a bear without its fur. The sun will burn, And the stars will turn, But I will still remember her as a brave hunter, The trees will sway, And the clocks will still run the right way, The world will forget, And some will forgive. But I will remember you always, And that eternity will be in many ways.
