Remember Why Christmas

In the light of grace,
All hope was born,
In Bethlehem,
One early morn.

The shepards saw
The star so bright.
A king was born
To shed His light.

But do we as humans,
Forget the reason
It’s all about Christ,
This holiday season.

With gifts all wrapped
In paper with beauty,
Have we forgotten Jesus’ birthday?
Have we? Oh, do we?

It’s not about gifts,
Or Santa Clause.
But rather it’s Jesus
Is why it’s because.

This holiday season,
When snow covers the ground.
Forget not our Lord
And His love renowned.
