Remember the Days

I’m young but I remember the days
The days with no worries
The days full of love and happiness
The days of complete admiration
The days when my only fear was the dark
The days when parents were my relief from fear
The days when a bouncy ball pleased me
The days when lullabies carried me to my dreams
The days when stress didn’t exist
The days as a child
The days you forgot
You’re old now
You have worries
You days are almost loveless
You fear every thing
You have no one to turn to
You sleep to thoughts of bills
You wake to thoughts of stress
You live wishing time could rewind
