Remember the Days

I remember the days when
I ran around care free
Did fun crazy thing
All cuase someone dared me

I remember those days
Weren't they the times
As a kid it was fun
Running a muck until night

Do you remember the rule
Every kid in the neiberhood had
Be home before lights come
Or answer to your dad

I remember the days of
Not working just to live
To have no worries at all
But to just be a kid

Don't you remember those days
They feel like yesterday to me
I played as hard as I could
Through scrapes and bummed knees

I remember days when
I had a blast with my friends
We made up our own games
Rules to how they should end

I remember days like that
Those were the good o'l days
Now we're adults working
And bills demand our pay

I really miss those day
Wish I could just go back
Since becoming an adult
I've been derailed and off track

Yes! I remember those days and making up games, etc. So freeing too. Well done! :)
