Remember Me
When the leaves turn their brilliant colors
As the wind brings a slight chill
Remember all the good times we had
And let my memory fill
As you sit by a cozy fire
Warming in its glow
Remember me, and you will know
When you lay in bed at night
Staring up at the sky
Remember me and how our love took flight
As you are warmed by the blanket on a cold winter night
Remember how my loved warmed your soul
No matter where you are
Just close your eyes and remember me
I will be waiting for you
And once again you will feel the love we shared.
I am there in every breeze, every warmth
Every leaf that falls from the tree
Everything you experience I shall also
Even though I am absent from you now
My love will ever live
Within your heart and soul
