Remember Me
From the dungeons of despair O let me rise
Unswaddled of sin and care
Pure again to claim the promise of Eden's prize
O tell me, Lord, You are near
CHORUS
Remember me, coming home again
Earth's illusions all I have seen
Remember me, covered with your stain
Wash me whole, Jesus, make me clean
Shackles of need, O let them fall, truth my triumph now
Blessed truth from your love outpoured
Transformed by its creed, my temple in your temple bow
Ransomed by griefs you endured.
Blind child from dust, lost in the glow of vain self's dream
Do you not want Eden still
Chains are broken in waters from Jordon's pure stream
God's faith waits your yielded will.
The storms of tonight, they are over now at last
Wings of day, ready to go
We have made it through fires and winters' frosty blast
Lead O Jesus, your glories overflow.
