Remember Lot's Wife

Remember Lot's wife Who stopped and looked back To her treasures in life; Her heart could not retract. Though a holy angel Led them out with pity, She turned and beheld The fire upon her city. No longer would be rife Friends and home she bought; Remember Lot's wife Turned to a pillar of salt.
