REMEMBER JESUS
at a time when Christians
were compromising their faith
John wrote a letter telling them
to contemplate
that for them there was a great sacrifice.

If we read the scriptures
we should comprehend
that Jesus is the Alpha, the Omega,
the Beginning and the End
The Holy Word in the flesh,
the Son of Man
and on His Beatitudes
we should firmly stand
remember Jesus
and all that for us He had done
remember Jesus
the Lamb of God, the Sacrificial Son
man had sinned in the garden of Eden
It made God mad
so for us He sent a Savior
with the love that for us
He still had
Jesus born to a virgin
a predestined position
to cleanse us of sin
create the Great Commission
on a cross for us
Jesus was sacrificed
on Mount Calvary for us
Jesus was crucified
remember Jesus
and all that for us He had done
remember Jesus
the Lamb of God, the Sacrificial Son
His blood was shed to cleanse us of sin
so we'd have a relationship with God again
remember Jesus

without Jesus
there'd be no relationship with God
without Jesus
we wouldn't even know where to start
