Remember Her Life In Celebration

I pray for you, because I wish you peace. It's not meant as some empty platitude. Your sense of loss, heartfelt grief, I share with you. Let not the burden of a heavy heart, allow your troubles to increase. In time all pain will cease. It's okay to smile, to even laugh, when sharing memories of the past. Those absurdly funny, happy times, are moments, that were meant to last. So dwell not lost in sadness, instead, remember her life in celebration.

Hey dear poetess, I'm sorry for the long delayed response... I truly thank you for reading and commenting. I'm just kinda numb right now and haven't been around much and for that I'm truly sorry...

This is so tender and heartfelt. I agree, it is okay to smile while remembering certain moments in life, while the heart is aching. I am praying as well. ~ Brandy

My Mom was definitely a feisty one. if she liked you she could be as soft and sweet as the sweetest flower, but when angry she could be as devastating as a hurricane. I miss her, I catch myself constantly picking up my phone to call her only to realize I can't anymore.
