Remember Ed

The fragrance of an orchid rafting through the air The eruption of a sweet pitcher plant striking but still care The melodic strains of an orchestra sailing through the night And the resonant notes of the guitar seeking drums to smite Reminds me of you and of a beauty rare The pain on my words spying on past scenes The impetuous shiver contaminating my pen's ink The barricade impulses of my brain in this conquest And the battles imitating the path of the bullet's request Reminds me of you as your love sinks One day we'll look back on this day Smiling, playing, and laughing without dismay But right now, if tears were diamonds, I'll be worth a trillion And if sorrow fear, Il'd be the back page of a lion Because I remembered you and I today This time, an 'ED' tags along with my REMEMBER Not portraying PAST But that I will REMEMBER you Even till Death
