Remember Child

Will you remember the love in my eyes
Will you see hope past the worried cries
Can the dreams for you to find your way
Bring hope and faith for a better day

Remember strength comes from each trial
You radiate joy with your sweet smile
Will you remember my pride in your success
Your character and style my heart caress

As you grow into the woman you want to be
Remember I have faith in the woman I see
Please remember the treasure you are
Remember you're my shining star

This is a very beautiful poem. Children don't always remember the lessons they were taught, but a trigger reminds them who taught them the lesson when they are going through the same thing with their own.
