Never let it become a blur.

Thanks, Richard. I think most poets/artists are fortunate in that we retain that little piece of childhood within us somewhere...regardless of the pressure to "grow up". Carole Duet :D

I couldn't agree more! Everyone's child is still very much within them, said me, based on my own inner-child! A great gem of wisdom. The best days are those when our 'child' is allowed to play - those are memory making days. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

That is so true, Caren. There is a child within us all and to me that is usually the best part of a person. Imagine if in heaven we all became innocent children again without the scars of life. I think that kid is always inside us. We grow around the kid, put things in perspective if we are wise. Yes, most should embrace but some had a terrible childhood but perhaps can gleam some good memories.
