Remains

Looking out the window pane
I see them all down the lane
So many memories all contained
By the pieces of my hearts remains

How did it get so broken
I'm tired of all this pain
I thought leaving you I'd have something to gain

Now all that's left is a painful stain
Our loves remains
And no words to explain
The hurt and pain
That I just cant sprain

I will forever restrain
To love again.

I identify with much of your material and subject matter. It's important, for me as the reader, to relate to what's being said, and you convey some universal sentiments that apply to us all; I enjoy that :)

Trying to gather the pieces & move on. I feel this one deeply. Great job!
