Relinquish

Prophecy, unending till
begins and ends ~ myself not nil
a forward or between
that might have been!

Condescending, like the rule of thought's chagrin
is offered as a choice or not a win
but as a rife encountered, not as fool
I follow heart or listening, follow through!

I follow only will, man's choice o'er sin
still useless, that I follow my own whim,
that beggar's difference, wanting faith's Amen,
I follow message, knowing mine be heard again?

Can't hide or run away
the options can't exclude to bring obey,
God's asking to but follow Him, and then
relinquish my own self . . . the what I've been!
