Religion of Youth

Religion of Youth The clouds of Bamiyan flew over my head, I started and woke up whining on my bed. O God, again the mankind is in the docks, I wondered how I would turn back the clocks. In retrospect I yearned to put heart and soul, And gather all the youth to stop the foul. Then who would take due care, Of the mayhem here and there. The youth of the world I would call, And ask them to join and stem the fall. I started the "religion of youth," A wake-up call to roll the ball. I said, "If you love the world, join us," if you laze around, you'll miss the bus. For the power to run multinationals, Can also be the power to shoo anti-nationals. The corrupt and fanatics will perish, A dream which all of us will cherish. Come join to stem the rot, Take the road and leave the cot!
