Relief

Hot sand on the soles
Skipping toward the shoreline
To waves of relief

I can 'feel' this haiku, Michael; it appeals to the senses; love the end line. Top marks for you #7. // paul

I can feel that. Immensely beautiful Haiku. There is something so relieving from dry hot to wet coolness... Adored this one. Reminds me of summer days long ago. Always, Laura

Michael, I live on the beautiful gulf coast therefore imagining this is very easy for me. Thanks for the cool and refreshing image(: ...walkin' on sunshine...Rochelle

Yes, making your way to the waves can hurt so good :-)
