Release Me From the Pain
Release me from the pain
I could sit here staring at the wall
Pretend to be deaf, go blind and fall
I could splash some puddles in the rain
For my heart's like a river once again
I could climb the highest of all mountains
Finding out what it is that bounds us
I could sail the seven seas and return
yet water ain´t good for the burn
Release me from the pain
Break the tides I'm drowning
Release me from my brain
Break the waves of doubting
I could smoke some weed and get high
then show you inside the softer side
I could breath in, exhale bit by bit
breathing in till numbness hits
I could preach about the afterglow
While the rush inside starts to flow
I could end the battle and be disarmed
as you´ve become the needle in my arm
Release me from the pain
Break the tides I'm drowning
Release me from your brain
Break the waves of doubting
I could be your cello , your tambourine
Get you back in tune to where we've been
I could release the drumming in your ears
Soften and silence all your troubled fears
I could have been your satellite in space
picking up on love when it's out of place
But I can not loose myself another time
For second chances never form a rhyme
So I don't think I will
Loose myself waiting for the kill
No I don't think I will
Loose myself waiting for the thrill
