Release

Suffocating constantly
Hands clutching my heart
Sweat running down my saddend face
Do I have a choice
I need to win this race

Eyes piercing into my soul
- scared of what you will see
I cant hide anymore
You are tearing me apart
Bare naked...my soul..my heart

You will see the heart wretching truth
Incarcerated deep down inside of me
Scars and deep founded wounds
Still seeping and raw
Please believe me I can explain what you saw

It was years of pain
Hardened words that broke me down
I have learned to look at everything with a frown
...Trying, crying, fighting this battle alone...and then
I finally found you, my person, my own
