...never actually married, 7.5 years committed to the anti-marriage anti-kids anti-poetry love of my life, he was married with baby on the way within a year, to a poet; I fixed him by breaking him.

I ran into the poet yesterday, that ignited my muse and broke up my marriage 14 years ago, you just reminded me of his observation of my capacity for observation: hours looking at the stars, or a bug.

Thanks Maureen. I wrote different versions of this poem throughout my life. The original was when I was living in a tent on a beach in Greece. I literally had the time to do this, and did it; so this is not a poem but the truth. It crossed my mind today for some reason and so took this form. This is the very 1st time it has been written down. I'm sure will change as all of us do. Thank you so much Maureen for always commenting.
