Know he don’t love me anymore
Don’t matter what happened all before,
When he don’t treat you right for you to shine so bright
Know he don’t love you anymore.
Acceptance is the key for relationships to be
To forward on til the very end,
Though if he breaks your heart by being far apart
You know that you will always have a friend.
Know that he is one but he’s not you
Know he really never had a clue
Of broken dreams to mend or even love to send
When tender loving care was overdue.
Know that when he’s gone life will still be born
Know that there will be another day,
Nighttime will unfold and you may feel the cold
Though know my friend that you will be OK.
Guess I am just writing this for me
To build myself up to being free,
Yet all that I have penned return to make pretend
Where fantasies evolve to oversee…
