Rejection

I don't know what I did
how I may have offended
I only know how I feel
I'm not wanted or needed.

I remember all the times
people turned me away
they left me standing there
not knowing what to say.

I hurt inside, heart and soul
I don't know where to turn
other than say a prayer, hoping
there's something to learn.

I know Jesus was rejected
by the leaders of His time
he must have felt worse
yet He committed no crime.

Maybe I can take solace
knowing He's lead the Way
I can look to the future
maybe acceptance one day.

I loved this read. Such honesty, exposing the souls for all to see. Thanks for this honest write.
