Reigning

I’m battling a storm,
Amid an empty norm;
May each tear cascade my face,
Cry, then wipe away;

How could I say thank you,
To a sour tasting painful,
When the answer isn’t clear,
And questions reappear?

I’ve not guided prayer this way,
To a sacrilegious faith;
I need love to hurry in,
Like a rushing tide, or wind –
