Regrets From My Youth

Everyday they would encircle and torment me. I was the victim of every elementary and high school bully. Eventually however they would come to accept me, then altogether we would torment the victim that came after me. Regrets From My Youth. I owe so many an apology.

Sorry it had to be that way, Bill. It's different for girls and I wouldn't have wanted to be in your shoes when the bullies were tormenting you.Don't be too hard on yourself for taking on the bully role yourself. That's likely to happen in such situations and you were just a kid. Very insightful poem! Love, Carolyn
