Regrets

Some years ago I wrote a letter,

this special letter I never sent,

if I had things would be better,

my heart belonged to the recipient ,

some years ago I sang a song,

this song I only sang to myself,

now I know this was just wrong,

I didn't choose love over wealth,

some years ago a poem I wrote,

this poem of love and affection,

much to shy to show or promote,

now live a life without direction,

years ago I found love so true,

love that would never bloom,

my feelings not shown to you,

though my heart had lots of room,

regrets are all I have now,
because my fears would not allow.
