Regrets

Turn on the T.V., and see what's going on
How can I show my children where the world has gone
The fighting that goes on everyday
And how it won't go away
I'm tired of hearing how someone dies
Of how we are searching for the terrorists who hide
The world is in an uproar
And yet we fight even more
We're angry because two soldiers we killed and beat
And now we won't retreat
Now there's all of these death threats
And now everyone regrets
