Regret

If I had to do it over again I would do it differently

I wrote this for you because you cut me off before I could tell you how I feel

And even though I know you’re already gone I still ask myself every night is it too late

Because if there was a take two it would be us together not separation like me and you

Us and only us like nothing else exist

Two people in an all white room with love filling the atmosphere

I wouldn’t hesitate I would let my hands do the talking and my lips feel

Not missing one inch of this moment because this is it

One life one chance to change what’s ahead

Thoughts of you next to me in a blank world, you make my life free

I didn’t see it coming oblivious to it all

You told me when slowly dropping hints

But all I could do is stare

Ever since I first saw you my first thought was damn

Stunned by someone so beautiful drop dead gorgeous, think I am a ghost

p.s. now I’m thinking damn I wish I was still alive…

I really like your free-flowing spirited style. You could probably write a book just on all those "damn" moments in life alone (while alone) - damn!

thank you for the kind words. It's funny you say that because that is exactly what I did. My debut book IF LOVE WERE REAL... completed and I am working on a release date now!
