She stood before distorted mirror of her past Munching and mincing in stream of regret As the Adam evaporated after the fallen apple A pariah she became in the market-square of womanhood Having lost her virginity on altar of love Tonight tears tear her apart as the haunting ghost Of happy ignorance nailed her in the coffin of grief awoh kingsley awoh
