Regret

I regret not looking directly in your eyes
and telling you
how much I love you.

I regret not holding your hands
when we were at the bus stop
standing under the rain
under the same umbrella.

I regret not saying 'I do'
when you were right in front of me;
smiling and waiting for me
to become your wife.

I regret it all.

I really do.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
