Regression

Hello again
My long lost friend
I can’t say I’ve missed you
Without you, life's been blissful
But you're here in this regression
I’ve slipped back into depression

So I’ll dance with you once more
On this familiar floor
In this cold dark place
Where you've reared your ugly face
With these thoughts that malign me
And these demons that define me

I’ll dwell on the past
Where you've amassed
Relive what hid in suppression
While you hinder my progression
I’ll come undone again
With my long lost friend

I wish...Then I could just quit...Unfortunately, I can't just quit my mental illness...I can only fight it. Thanks for the comment.
