Refused

I walked with scents and beauty

Redwoods, lilies, pines, morning glory's

Camped in darkness amist shinging stars

Just for future stories

Water gushing with force

Shooting with grace off beaten rocks

Crisp air for a last breath

A door to which I knock

Please let me enter

I feel my deeds are done

Refuse me not for I'm tired

Of the rising sun

The doors stayed closed

I'm ignored yet once again

Unknown if for kindness

Maybe I need one more sin

Teresa - this poem is well written and very beautiful yet so sad - In the past I often felt the same way - My life was nothing but pain and heartache (Sad part was it was all my bad) when I handed it all over to God - I then paroled from prison for the last time and by Gods grace I got my family back, no longer do I cook or use drugs and my life is blessed - I hope that you find peace with-in - blessings

Beautiful imagery in the beginning. You seem so troubled. I am wishing you love and hope and the beginning of new and wonderful things. Love, Shar
