Reflexions in the Dark Silent Night

                                                     In the dark silent night, I sit alone,
                                            Wrapped in slim serene shadow of my own,
                                       The quarter moon and stars hang high, dim bright,
                                           Casting a gentle glow through the dark night.

                                            Thoughts like fireflies dance in the quiet air,
                                                 Flickering memories, too faint to bear;
                                                Whispers of the past echo in my mind,
                                              Moments bygone, yet still so intertwined.

                                          Night swathes around me a comforting shroud,
                                               Deep in the dark, I find solace, unbowed.
                                           Nature's breath, a solemn song, soft and sweet,
                                                    Crickets sing a melody near my feet.

                                                What do I seek in the dim, endless space?
                                                  The purpose of my life journey to trace:
                                                  How beyond the body and mind to rise,
                                               How at day`s end to reach the distant skies.

                                                 Thoughts roll on the best fit, myself to be,
                                                        To disentangle the essence of me,
                                                     As in silence, reflections start to crop
                                              A journey through my mind, replete with hope .

                                                 As hours tick by, the world begins to sway,
                                             Dark clouds shroud the moon and the stars away,
                                                  Waves of my mind dwell on how to be free
                                               From chain of birth and death and turn its key.

                                                  Every thought ripples in darkness of night
                                              Seeking depth of meaning and their true light;
                                                The night cares, closely cradling each desire,
                                                     Each flicker of hope turns to bright fire.

                                                      So here I linger, embracing the calm,
                                                  In  dark of the night, I find my own balm;
                                              With each flitting moment I learn new threads,
                                              The silent serene scene where truth does tread.

                                                  As dawn looms near, a hint of light appears,
                                               The night’s thoughts linger, dispelling my fears;
                                                    In the silent night I gathered strength new,
                                                      In the darkness, I discovered what`s true.
