Wendy, in my earlier comment I should have said 'cute as a button' (I didn't know 'dickens' was a euphemism for the devil!) Congrats on another win with this sensational one-line poem!

So true, Wendy! That rare smile communicates she is healthy, happy, fed, clean, and rested, and who cannot love knowing all that; plus, her smile is cute as the dickens! Love this... congratulations on your placement in Brian's contest ~ John

Yes, it takes a tough cookie not to respond to that inviting smile. I'd not heard the expression 'cute as the dickens' before then googled it and noted that 'dickens' was a euphemism for the devil, cute in this sense meaning cunning I suppose! Thanks for reading my efforts, John.
