Reflections of Your Heart

Your truest of true
That only you knows
Is held within your soul
But through your eyes it shows
How you think life should be
Is a reflection of your heart
With all our pain and suffering
From these feelings we can't part
It is the pure essence of you
Shining like a beacon in the rain
Weathering any storm
Though sometimes we complain
Like the history of mankind
We're never always happy
We want everything now
And please make it snappy
Dysfunction crowds our life
Turning it upside down
We think we get what we want
But it only makes us frown
Prioritize your life
What really matters to you
Count your blessings
Let your true self shine through
Do yourself a favor
Get it right from the start
You owe this to yourself
These are reflections of your heart
