Time for reflection That’s what I’ve gained Alone with my thoughts Starting over again Another heart loved Another love lost Another home broken That’s what it cost I want it to end My breath! Her pain! Don’t want to go through This! Ever again! Perhaps this time I’ll learn And see my mistakes And instead of running, Apply those brakes Am I scared of love? Of sharing and giving? Or looking for someone With my view of living? Am I hard, am I cold? Ungiving? Unforgivable? Or adventurous, ambitious And just wanting it all?
