Reflection

Looking out a broken window
Trying to see past the broken glass
Seeing past the cuts and bruises
Past the scars hidden deep within your soul
Seeing truth without opening my eyes
I can see the tears you once cried
I can see all the pain and hurt you've been through
Then I lift my eyelids and my eyes open
Theres no broken window, just a mirror
The person I see is me
