African poem by Nwachukwu Victor REFLECTING ON EASTER Once again, we are at that Joyful season The time to celebrate for that one reason He has paid the price He laid down his life as a living sacrifice In our darkness, he became the light He has given us the power to fight To defeat sin, death that leads to pain He has cleared the part, and given us the way to heavenly gain Life Itself has restored back to us And the light of Christ resurrection has been bestowed upon us So this should be the beginning of a new you The beginning of a stronger you Sent forth as a viliant knight With the resurrection of Christ shining in you so bright As you embark on this Pascal mission To spread the resurrection of Christ as your vision So in this season, Don't only celebrate for earthly pleasure But to keep and cherish Pascal treasure.
