Reeping

Once
Back in time
A life or two
There lived a loving soul
The words he’d rhyme
Where meant for you
To know when you were old
And in this generation
I find in veneration
Sweet exacting finite truth
Repeating to extol
Youth’s swiftly dancing role
In this road there is a toll
And the travel makes you whole
Again
