Redeem Self Esteem

Trekking the peak of triumph was the utmost highlight of my career Being an icon for years made everyone swept off their feet The pride, honor and glory seem to be bright and shiny Just like the applause of people, it’s everywhere surround me The best moment in life has come to an end It is taken by time, it must be given to someone else As light slowly fades and so as people around me Timidly walking away and forget the history that I made But the worst part of all is not about losing myself Not even dropping my glory and lose my pride I am wondering how to redeem my self esteem Despite of all negative criticisms thrown on my way I deserve respect more than anyone’s appreciation My contributions were huge and they show domination After making an impact, was everything just an imagination? For efforts should be realized because they last forever
