This is why you should drink red wine
My wife drinks white but that is also fine.
Is red better than white or does it matter at all?
Yes, red is made from grape skin's resveratrol.
You drink it if you are really smart
Knowing polyphenols in it are good for the heart.
And full of catechines
So drinking it is a win win.
And what does that do?
It regulates blood sugar, I thought you knew.
And keeps memory on track
Slows beta-amyloid protein in brain plaque.
It also tells a cold to take a hike
So what is not to like.
But how often you might say?
If an old male - two glasses a day.
A female should drink half of that
If she doesn't, please don't rat.
And what time a day you might ask?
Dinner is best time to fill the glass.
How much should I pay to impress my honey?
Over fifteen dollars you'd be wasting money.
Is drinking organic grape wine wiser?
Yes, does not have glyphosate from fertilizers.
Researchers say drink it three or four times a week
Will starve off cancer cells which is quite a feat.
But don't do it that way
I say drink it every day.
Which - Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot?
Try them both and then you will know.
