Sitting in a bower, admiring the heartwarming beauties dance Red rosebuds unfold, revealing the romance of nature at a glance Wisp of light prancing around them yielding a velvet air to touch Brighter than gems, yet on a stem Dawn has burst forth, I love so much Exquisite velvet roses long green stems, leaflets, and prickles Spray of velvet roses poses Sweet fragrance of moist dew trickles Crisp air weaving through trembling leaves Deep yearning feeling to embrace the sight of the red rose, like thieves takes my breath away with grace 8/12/2016
