Red Light!

I was talking to a girl,
Who had fallen in love with a married man,
She said,'I can't help it, he consumes me,'
But I can't do anything otherwise it'll split his marriage up.
I said,' baby, you can as much stop life as you can stop at a red traffic light.'

Interesting topic, I like the Idea, but the last line confuses me seem to me you need some driving lessons if your not stopping at red lights..... *confused*
