Red Embers Rain

It's all such a familiar smell,
From when all the ashes fell.
The house I built was washed away
By only the red embers rain.

All affection reduced to soot;
No bed left for my love to put.
The last "I Love You" said in smoke;
By only the red embers rain my lungs will choke.
