Recycled Soul
Something tells me I’ve been here before
In my past, but not long ago
I’ve justified, many weak alibis
And repent for this recycled soul
I repent for my recycled soul
But I still keep the devil in tow
I’ve been scraped off the floor
Put together once more
So won’t you pray for my recycled soul
Yesterday found me in Heaven
But today I’m back down to earth
A slow suicide, And I’m along for the ride
It’s been a long road but this ain’t my first
I repent for my recycled soul
But I still keep the devil in tow
I’ve been scraped off the floor
Put together once more
So won’t you pray for this recycled soul
I was halfway to hell when she found me
Strung out with more vices than one
Breath like a still, my veins full of pills
There’s no way I’d have overcome
I repent for my recycled soul
But I still keep the devil in tow
I’ve been scraped off the floor
Put together once more
So won’t you pray for this recycled soul
Had it not been for her and His guiding word
Chances are I’d never be free
Dying is easy it’s living that’s hard
But even a blind man could see
I repent for this recycled soul
For once again goin down the wrong road
Heaven is nice but true paradise
Would be for this soul to find its way home
I repent for this recycled soul
