Recognition

Recognition

I would slumber in you
Squinting with an owl’s grin,
Like a standing wave
Like a hoarse flapping
My peafowl would cover me
With a chickadee’s flutter of wing

Wow ! Very unusual imageries of recognition, mixing up the bird kingdom. I love it, Aniko. This is fascinating: Squinting with an owl’s grin, Blessings to Holland from South Africa, Ghairo.
