Reckless Kids
Reckless Kids

Bones left to rot, this stupid luck we got
They may think we’re dead but we sure live a lot
Enjoy their lives and count the things they got
We may be walking dead but we sure live a lot
Yeah damn right we live a lot
However bright you think we are
We’re nothing more than shooting stars
Frequencies of truth, lost signals of our youth
Ink of me and you, for nothing more than proof
Desperate lives today until we burn away
It’s ok to say the crazy live this way
But you’d know it’s true if you only knew
Tears that we escape with reckless things we do
We’ll cut to the days where hope redefines
These hollowed-out dreams inside of our minds
To know this great pain doesn’t make us strong
It makes us wise to the calls we got wrong
With the past growing heavy on our backs
Knowing that we will never fade to black
Footsteps grow louder than the echoes of ghosts
Always holding close the stars we'll miss the most
